Entsuuin is located in Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots of Japan, and visited by many people. Entsuuin is the family temple of Mitsumune, the legitimate grandchild of Japanese military commander Masamune Date. Its mausoleum, Sankeiden, is one of the best buildings of the Date family with a high level of technology and designated as an important cultural property. You can have a special party only for yourself in the Japanese garden that changes its look according to the change of the four seasons. It is also famous as the temple of matchmaking where the kannon of matchmaking welcomes you for your happy life with a good partner.
