2024.08.28 Miyako Island in Okinawa to host the International Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security 2025（FC25）

We are pleased to announce that the International Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security 2025 (FC25) will be held on Miyako Island, in Okinawa, Japan. Under the outstanding leadership of Prof. Kazue Sako from Waseda University, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Japan Tourism Agency, Okinawa Prefecture and the Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB), is proud to have contributed to efforts in attracting this international conference.

The purpose of this annual conference is to discuss and share research on the security of various social systems, including financial systems. It is one of the world’s preeminent international conferences for data security research. Approximately 150 participants are expected to attend the first FC conference to be held in Japan in 12 years since the 2013 conference on Okinawa’s main island.
