Bridge World for Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge: 160 minutes (3,000 yen)
The Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, connecting Kobe and Awaji Island, is 3,911 metres long, with a central span of 1,991 metres, making it the world's largest suspension bridge. Construction began in 1988 and was completed in 1998. The “Bridge World for Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge” tour takes you along a maintenance walkway closed to the general public, up to the top of a bridge tower 300m above the sea, to enjoy 360-degree panoramic views. The tour operates from April through November each year.
