The Evergreen Forest of Aya River/Teruha Suspension Bridge (Admission: 300 yen)

One of Japan's largest evergreen forests, it was designated a UNESCO Eco-Park in 2012. The Teruha suspension bridge spanning the Aya River valley is 142 metres high and 250 metres long, one of the world's largest pedestrian suspension bridges. Crossing it feels almost like walking on air, with panoramic views of virgin forest in every direction.
