Aomori
Aomori’s downtown area and train station are located near the sea, and the city is surrounded by the Hakkoda Mountains, Mutsu Bay and other beautiful nature. The richly diverse fruits of the sea and land are evident in the city’s culture and cuisine. The Bay area that stretches from the train station is home to numerous facilities that convey the appeal of Aomori, including the Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse, where visitors can experience the summery Nebuta Festival yearround. In the Hakkoda area, you will find striking nature that changes each season as well as a scattering of hot springs, including the historical hot spring town Asamushi, a quiet retreat for locals and historical figures such as woodblock printmaker Shiko Munakata and writer Osamu Dazai. Aomori—a city embraced by four seasons of colorful nature, a town abounding with welcoming hospitality and smiles— is the ideal location for your next conference.
