Nara

Nara

Rich in ideas and technology from Europe, China and Korea via the Silk Road, Nara is a living museum with 1,300 years of art and architecture to offer. As the first capital of Japan, Nara is the cradle land of wisdom where the ancient knowledge and techniques have been nurtured and kept alive for many centuries. With an abundance of culture and nature as well as the three World Heritage Sites, Nara continues to be a unique destination that inspires imagination and brings future business opportunities, offering a convention environment that is entirely different from any other city. In April 2020, Nara Prefectural Convention Center - a convention complex with a large hall capable of seating 2,000 small and medium meeting rooms and more - opened its doors in the center of Nara city.
