Takamatsu

Udon artisans who stick to the traditional tastes of Takamatsu, the home of Sanuki udon, teach visitors how to make udon noodles from scratch. Then, boil and eat right on the spot. (Required time: about 90 minutes) - Marugame Uchiwa Making Experience
Made from a single piece of bamboo, the Marugame Uchiwa fan is designated as a national traditional craft. Kagawa Prefecture boasts the largest share of uchiwa in Japan. You can experience making uchiwa, such as by participating in skeleton making, painting and pasting.
