The Morioka Grand Hotel exists to give everyone who visits it the best time possible. The Morioka Grand Hotel was originally created in 1965, five years ahead of the Iwate National Sports Festival in order to prepare a hotel suitable for the emperor and empress upon their incurring visit. The hotel was opened on top of a small hill at the base of Mount Atago amidst a flurry of local excitement.
In the more than 50 years since its opening, the Morioka Grand Hotel has existed for one purpose: to deliver the best possible experience to all of its guests.
