Located in the center of Oita City, the Oita Prefectural Art Museum is only a 15-minute walk from JR Oita Station. The concept of the museum is “Museum of Encounters and of the Five Senses.” The museum hosts exhibitions connected to Oita’s unique culture and environment, as well as exhibitions featuring selected works from the 5,000 works in our permanent collection.
