Kurobe Unazuki International Hall (Selene)

Opened in August 1993 (Heisei 5) as a place for international exchange and the development of human resources that are prepared for a global, information-driven society. As a full-scale international conference hall, it has large halls, small halls and small and medium-sized conference rooms that can be used for any purpose. The large hall is equipped with a high-tech simultaneous interpretation system that can handle 6 languages and can handle a layout of up to 800 seats. Video, audio and lighting systems are also in place, allowing for performances such as concerts and theatrical performances to be held. The museum features a permanent exhibit of works based on the Kurobe gorge drawn by leading Japanese artists including Ikuo Hirayama.
