The animals on display are unified around the theme of ''Sea of Kyushu.'' In spring 2019, we began a new exhibit called ''HONE NOTE,'' which shows the bones of marine animals, such as the 5.4m skull of a sperm whale and a complete Antarctic minke whale skeleton.
